The beach of Anse Boileau on the southwest coast is a narrow strip of sand on shallow water near the coastal road. You often see fishermen emptying their fish traps and small boats here. - Directions: Turn off at the international Airport turn left and drive south on the main road via Anse aux Pins Once you have passed the police station of Anse aux Pins (on your left), continue for about 1½ km until you see the turn-off for Montagne Posée on your right (next to a football pitch). Turn right here into the Montagne Posée Road, which goes over the mountain and on the other side of the island to Anse Boileau. The whole route is about 9 km long.
