Im dritten Quartal 2018 standen 1.110.250 Betten zur Verfügung. Davon waren 58% auf Mahe, 24% auf Praslin, 8% auf anderen Inseln und 10% auf La Digue.

In the first quarter of 2018, licensed accommodation establishments sold 671,312 bed nights and 341,261 room nights. This equates to an occupancy of (63%) for beds and (66%) for rooms. The highest bed occupancy for hotels was on Mahe (78%), and for guesthouses the highest was on Praslin (67%). Praslin and the other islands recorded the highest bed occupancy for self-catering (70%).

In the second quarter of 2018, licensed accommodation facilities sold 649,621 overnight stays and 331,751 room nights. This corresponds to an occupancy rate of (60%) for beds and (63%) for rooms. The highest bed occupancy rate for hotels was on Mahe (72%) and for guest houses the highest was on Praslin (63%). Praslin and the other islands recorded the highest bed occupancy for self-catering (60%).

In the third quarter of 2018, licensed accommodation facilities sold 687,223 overnight stays and 337,649 room nights. This corresponds to an occupancy rate of 62% for beds and 63% for rooms. The highest bed occupancy rate for hotels was at Mahe (84%) and the highest for guest houses was at Praslin (62%). La Digue recorded the highest bed occupancy rate for self-catering (59%).
