It was the CEO of the Tourism Board (STB) Sherin Francis who had the honour of opening the facility in the presence of the Secretary of Tourism Anne Lafortune and other invited guests.

The Fire & Ice - Bar and Lounge offers day and night entertainment with drinks and light snacks. It will also be available for hosting private functions and other lifestyle events.

"We conducted market research and found that there is a demand for nightlife in the Seychelles for both locals and tourists. A place where you can enjoy, relax and feel safe, and that's why we came up with this idea for this type of gastronomy ", says the owner Parcou.
Catering for up to 250 people, Fire & Ice - Bar and Lounge, filled with lots of light and sound, will also host private functions and other lifestyle entertainment. It will also function as a restaurant next year.

The place is equipped with a pool, outdoor lounge with bar and a large indoor area with bar and a VIP area.

Admission is strictly limited to people over 21 years of age, especially during night-time events, where the activities continue into the morning hours with dance entertainment. Persons under 21 years of age are only allowed access to the restaurant during private events or at certain times during the day.

"We don't want adult couples meeting in a place filled with teenagers. We want it to be a place where you can come, enjoy and relax in peace," said Miss Parcou.
The Fire & Ice - Bar and Lounge is open from 11:00 to 23:00 from Wednesday to Sunday. On Fridays and Saturdays the activities will end at 4:00 am. It is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. The management hopes to organise Sunday activities for families at the pool in the future.

CEO Francis congratulated the owners for their achievement and said that this will be a great entertainment venue for the locals, but most importantly it will be another attraction and choice for the new generation of travellers who are not just looking for sun, sea and sand.
