On both sides of the south-western tip of Mahé are two beautiful bays with gentle waves and soft white sand. These two beaches are mainly suitable for walking and photography, as the strong current makes bathing here dangerous. For this reason, and also because of their location away from the traffic routes, you are usually all to yourself on this almost untouched coast.
Directions:
These bays are located about 17 km from Airport away. Turn left at the airport and head south on the main road, passing the petrol station at Anse Royale. Continue until you reach the Quatre Bornes police station (on your right). Turn left here onto Intendance Road and drive for about 1 km until you reach another junction. Take the left of the two roads and follow it to the end.
