ANSE LAZIO

ANSE LAZIO

Beach in the north of Praslin

Interesting facts about the ANSE LAZIO:

Anse Lazio is located at the northern end of the second largest Seychelles island, Praslin. The beach is the epitome of a dream beach and is often listed among the top 10 beaches in the world in various magazines. Fine powdery sand, lush green vegetation and crystal clear water. The seabed is gently sloping. The best swimming conditions often prevail here, but there can also be high waves as there is no protective reef.

Lifeguards are on duty 7 days a week from about 9.30 am to about 5.30 pm. Takamaka trees and palm trees provide plenty of shade.
The ends of the beach are lined with granite rocks and are ideal for snorkeling.

On the west side of the beach there are 2 smaller beach sections. There is also the "Honesty Bar" hidden in the forest, which is run by a German-Seychelloise couple, where you can get cool drinks.

About behind the center of the beach in "Le Chevalier Restaurant" there is lunch and a souvenir shop.
Another restaurant at the beginning of the beach is currently under construction.
