Interesting facts about the ANSE AUX COURBES:

The Anse aux Courbes is located at the east of Mahé.
For tourists a rather unknown beach, for locals a popular spot for family reunions & beach barbecues especially on weekends.

Due to the offshore reef the water here is extremely calm and very shallow.
Between June-September you can often find washed up seaweed on the beach.

The supermarket "Kumar and Kumar" with a quite large selection including snacks like samousas or SausageRolls is located in the immediate vicinity.

Directions:

From Victoria via the Bois de Rose Avenue southbound, continue via Providence Highway, past the airport onto the East Coast Road and through the town of "Anse Aux Pins" with its large bus stop. Shortly after the "Takamaka Rum Distillery" there is a small sand parking lot on the left. (Next to Villa Dorado).
Travel time is about 25 minutes for 18 kilometers.

The bus stop is located directly behind the beach at Villa Dorado.
