Interesting facts about the FAIRYLAND BEACH:
Fairland means fairyland and hardly any other name could describe this small stretch of beach better.
The green vegetation with the shapely granite rocks and the turquoise sea results in a unique photo motif. The water is shallow and ideal for splashing around.
Opposite is the small rock island "Ile Souris". At high tide the beach disappears almost completely.

This picturesque beach can be found at the foot of a hill when you drive from Pointe au Sel towards Fairyland. It is popular with swimmers and sun-worshippers alike and has granite rocks in the sand as an added attraction.

On Sundays, there is a cake stall by the roadside that sells treats like pineapple, cinnamon, papaya and much more.

The village Anse Royal is a stone's throw away, it is the second largest place of Island and has some small shops, a gas station, a bank, souvenir shops and much more.

Directions:
From Victoria, take the Bois de Rose Avenue - Providence Highway south, past Airport follow the East Coast Road.
Travel time is about 30 minutes.
After the Kumar Kumar supermarket we go over a small hill, on the other side is the Fairland beach.
Parking is available directly in front of the beach at the roadside.
