On Mahé, the largest island of the Seychelles, the international Airport of the country, which is about 15 minutes away from the villa and allows for an uncomplicated arrival and departure. Mahé is not only the largest but also the highest island in the Seychelles. The Morne Seychellois has an altitude of around 900 metres. Around this mountain is the Morne Seychellois National Park, which, in addition to mangrove forests on the coast, is also home to a lush, dense jungle. In the park you will also find boat tours and hiking trails, as well as endemic giant tortoises that you can see up close! For nature lovers, the park has a lot to offer. If you prefer a more leisurely pace, you can visit the capital of Mahé, Victoria, which is about 6 km away. Victoria is also very close to Eden Island and has plenty of shops, sights and attractions to offer.
