Entry formalities for the Seychelles

Ungeachtet der Staatsangehörigkeit der Besucher und ihrer Familienmitglieder wird kein Visum für die Einreise auf die Seychellen benötigt. Um eine Einreisegenehmigung zu erhalten, müssen jedoch die folgenden Dokumente am internationalen Flughafen der Seychellen vorgezeigt werden:

  • a passport that is valid at least until the day of the planned departure
  • a ticket for the return or onward journey
  • proof of accommodation including contact details
  • Sufficient financial means for the duration of the stay

Holders of a child's identity card for underage German citizens up to the age of 15 may enter Seychelles provided that the card contains a photograph of the holder.

On presentation of all the above documents, a visitor's permit will be issued by the Seychelles Immigration Service.

Residence permit for the Seychelles

The visit permit is generally valid for one month and can be extended up to three months from the original date of issue. It may be extended in increments of no more than three months to a total duration of stay of no more than twelve months, provided the visitor continues to meet the relevant requirements.

The residence permit is free of charge for the first three months, thereafter for each extension of up to three months a fee of SCR 1,000 up.
