Statistics on offences in 2018 in the Seychelles

In the fourth quarter 2018 the total number of criminal cases recorded by the police decreased by 8%. There was a decrease in both police generated cases and reactive cases (-6%) and (-21.8%) respectively. The number of cases received by the Labour Court increased by 33.3 %, while the number of cases received by the Family Court decreased by 33.7 %. The number of admissions to prison decreased by 33.3%.
