Cocos is located 7 km north of La Digue and has been a marine national park since 1996. The waters around this 18,000 m² and approx. 200 x 90 m islet are considered the best snorkelling areas in the area. Among others, surgeon fish, zebra fish, trumpet fish, spotted groupers, colourful butterfly fish, green-blue butterfly fish, yellow-white-black banner fish, as well as reef sharks, turtles and sooo much more can be seen there. The island can be visited daily.
