GRAND ANSE
Beach in the west of Praslin
On the east side of Praslin, near the airport Grand Ansethe longest beach in the Island. There are several hotels overlooking the coast on this long bay. Grand Anse has a large and wide beach and the sea here is good for swimming and water sports. The beach is at its best during the northwest monsoon, when the sea here is calm and clear. During the southeast trade winds, seaweed occasionally washes into the bay. Many of the neighbouring hotels therefore offer their guests free transfers during this period to the Côte d'Or or other beaches on the opposite side of the island.
Directions:
The beach of Grand Anse begins immediately when you arrive at the Airport from Praslin turn left and run parallel to the main road until you reach the village of the same name.
