ANSE LOUIS
Beach in the west of Mahé
Anse Louis is located on the picturesque west coast of Mahé in the Anse Boileau region. The bay is protected from the elements not far from a bus stop and has big waves.
Here light powder sand meets green vegetation at turquoise sea.
This beach is also popular with wedding agencies because of its beauty.
The sea gets deep quickly, there is no protecting reef. There can be high waves and undercurrents.
Directions:
Start in Victoria via Bois de Rose Avenue heading south. In Roche Caiman take the third exit at the roundabout (Victoria South Petrol Station) and follow the Island Cross over La Misere Road. When you reach Grand Anse, turn left at the petrol station. From here it is a short 15-minute drive south along the coastal road. Directly after the "Maia Luxury Resort"There is a small gravel car park on the right.

Route 9 Port Launay via Les Canelles
And get off at the Maia Luxury Hotel
