Anse Takamaka View
Anse Takamaka View, a holiday home / flat in Takamaka, in the south of Mahé
We are a small self-catering resort in the southwest of Mahé. Takamaka, by the way, is a tree that already populated the beaches of the Seychelles before palm trees were introduced to the island. After a major tree die-off in 1998 caused by an introduced fly, it was placed under nature conservation.
Our local beach and the district here in the south are named after him.
This side of the island is quieter than the north. So it's an ideal place to switch off.
The Seychelles are an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa. There are numerous beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as rare animals such as the Aldabra giant tortoises. The capital Victoria is on Mahé, the starting point for visits to the other islands. The island also offers rainforests in the mountains of Morne Seychellois National Park and beaches such as Beau Vallon and Anse Takamaka.
