Le Duc de Praslin was rated for the fourth time in a row by HolidayCheck - the largest German-language portal that allows visitors to rate their travel and holiday experiences.

Awards are given to institutions based on excellent ratings from visitors.

Le Duc de Praslin Hotel & Villas was awarded a score of 5.6 / 6 for 2017.

The owner and general manager of the hotel, Mr Robert Payet, said that constant efforts to improve services and standards are essential to keep pace with the growing expectations of customers.

He added that the hotel's German-speaking markets are growing thanks to the marketing activities in Switzerland that have been intensified over the last 3 years, Austria and Germany have grown significantly

Germany is indeed the top tourism market for the Seychelles in 2017 and has brought 37,836 visitors to the island as of 8 October, an increase of 33 per cent over the previous year.

"Le Duc is delighted to be the proud recipient of another prestigious tourism award. This is proof that hotels managed by Seychellois are able to provide outstanding services. Through a set vision, investments, hard work and perseverance we have managed to reach this level. I owe this final tribute to my dedicated team of hard working Seychellois(e) who make our guests happy and proud of our country," said Mr. Payet.

Le Duc de Praslin offers 43 rooms and villas, which are especially suitable for honeymooners, families and couples looking for authentic, genuine Seychellois hospitality.

The hotel in Praslin has 3 gastronomic establishments and 3 bars, including Café des Arts, where you can enjoy seafood with upscale cuisine. The main restaurant, Le Dauphin, serves Creole fusion cuisine. The Tapas Lounge Bar is the latest addition to tapas dishes from around the world and is a popular entertainment venue on Praslin.

The Le Duc de Praslin with its local staff has received numerous awards over the years, including the "Hall of Fame Award" for Tripadvisor and the Agoda Gold Circle Award.
