Things to know about the SEYCHELLES NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM:

The natural history Seychelles Natural History Museum, not to be confused with the National History Museum der Seychellen, zeigt nicht nur Ausstellungen über Flora, Fauna und geologische Geschichte der Inseln, sondern versucht auch, Besucher über Umweltbelange aufzuklären und eine positive Einstellung zum Umweltschutz zu vermitteln.

Seven well-known aspects of Seychelles' natural heritage are displayed through exhibits and dioramas. The museum's documentation centre houses a wealth of diverse research materials.

Directions:

Das Museum befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Clocktower und fast direkt neben dem Postamt.
Parking is available at the "Stadium Car Park" for this from the Clocktower into Francis Rachel Street (this becomes a one-way street from the car park).
From the parking lot, walk back to the Clocktower, and turn right onto Independence Avenue. The museum is across the street.

Bus:
From the bus station, turn right west onto Palm Street. Turn left at the intersection onto Albert Street and left at the Clocktower onto Independence Avenue. The museum is located shortly after the post office on the left side of the street.

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 to 16:30
Friday: 08.30 to 12.00 hrs
Saturday: 09.00 to 13.00 hrs
