ANSE SEVERE

ANSE SEVERE

Beach in the north of La Digue

Worth knowing about the ANSE SEVERE:

Anse Sévère is a quiet spot that is very suitable for sunbathing and swimming. It is the first beach you reach when you turn left at the boat landing. There are two small hotels on the coast, but the beach is never crowded.

Anse Severe is a popular beach with both locals and tourists. The water is shallow, the bottom stony (water shoes recommended). There is a great view of the neighbouring island of Praslin.

In front of the beach some rocks rise out of the water, here it is worth taking the snorkel with you. On the beach there are 4-5 fruit stands that mix delicious fresh fruit juices. At sunset you have a great view on this beach.

Directions:

From the port of La Passe by bike about 5-10 minutes along the coast to the north.
