Domaine de Val des Prés (Arts and Crafts Village) is part of the Patrimwann. Experience traditional Creole culture on display at Domaine de Val des Prés. Or make your own history by getting married in Creole style on these beautiful grounds.
Domaine de Val des Prés consists of five attractions that emphasize Creole architecture, handicrafts and gastronomy: the 'Gran Kaz' plantation house, built around 1870; 'La Kaz Rosa', a typical 20th century worker's house; 12 artisan workshops that house local crafts; and finally, the 'Maison de Coco', a house built from coconut products where you will find souvenirs, all made from parts of the coconut palm.
Directions:
Von Victoria aus über die Bois de Rose Avenue Richtung Süden, über den Providence Highway, am Flughafen vorbei gradeaus auf die East Coast Road.
Domaine de Val des Pres is located in Au Cap just behind the Maison Marengo restaurant on the right-hand side of the road.
Travel time is about 25 minutes.
You can park on the roadside opposite Maison Marengo.
Parking is not permitted on the premises of the Craft Village.

Monday to Friday: 08.00 to 16.00 (village)
Monday to Friday: 09.00 to 17.00 (craft shops)
Monday to Friday: 11.00 to 23.00 (Restaurant Vye Marmit)
Prices:
free entrance to the village dishes in the restaurant Vye Marmit vary from SCR 45 to SCR 190.
