Takamaka Rum Distillery in the Seychelles

The Trois Freres Takamaka Rum distillery was built and developed in 2002 by brothers Richard and Bernard D'Offay.
They had the desire to offer the Seychelles a high quality rum made to grandfather's recipe. The "Takamaka Bay Dark Rum" was born.

2011 Takamaka Rum received 2 awards in the international wine and spirits competition. The International Wine and Spirit Competition is held annually in London and is one of the most famous competitions in this field.
In 2012 they received 4 awards in the same competition.

Directions to the Takamaka Rum Distillery:

From Victoria, take the Bois de Rose Avenue south on the Providence Highway, at Airport straight on to the East Coast Road.
The sign and the Takamaka posters at the roadside cannot be missed.
You can park directly on the premises.
Travel time is about 25 minutes.
