Interesting facts about the KENWYN HOUSE:
As one of the most famous monuments, Kenwyn House is a must for every visitor to the capital city of Victoria.
Kenwyn House is an elegant example of French colonial architecture. Visitors can explore the historic national monument while browsing a first-class selection of handmade South African diamonds, precious gems at duty free prices and a range of souvenirs.
You can enjoy refreshments in the adjoining tropical garden and marvel at the work of high-ranking local artists in the Kenwyn House Gallery.
Diamond SA products are available at the departure terminal of the International Airport on Mahé and at Praslin.
Directions:
From the Clocktower, head south on Francis Rachel Street. By car you can get out at the Stadium Car Park because it is a one-way street from Francis Rachel Street, from there it is a few minutes walk.
Just before the end of Francis Rachel Street, opposite the National Library and next to the Casion Gran Kaz, the light green roof of the Kenwyn House is hidden behind palm trees.
Bus: Leave the bus station heading west on Palm Street.
At the intersection with Albert Street, turn left south. At the Clocktower straight ahead onto Francis Rachel Street. Just before the roundabout, you will see Kenwyn House on the right hand side.
