Things to know about SILHOUETTE MARINE NATIONAL PARK:

At an altitude of 740m, Silhouette Island has escaped the deforestation common on other islands.

On 26 October 1987, Silhouette was designated a marine park. It is the only park that exists only on paper to date, but efforts are being made to set up a fund to effectively protect the area.

Opening hours:
All marine national parks are open daily, even on public holidays.
