Silhouette, the third largest island of the Seychelles

Things to know about the island Silhouette:

Silhouette, the third largest island of the Seychelles, is a 20 km² densely forested granite island with five mountains visible from afar, the highest of which, Mont Dauban, is 740 m high. It is surrounded by coral reefs and is not only an important breeding ground for birds but also a refuge for a number of highly endangered animal species and is therefore 93% protected.

The remaining 7% of land area is reserved for the small settlement of around 140 islanders who have been at home here for a long time, as well as the luxury hotel Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa with 116 guest rooms. The island does not have an airstrip for aircraft. The crossing by boat takes about 45 minutes. A helicopter transfer is also possible.
