The Anse L'Islette or Port Launay South is located in the northwest of Mahé.
Anse L'Islette is located opposite the islet of the same name and is one of the two main beaches of the Constance Ephélia Resort - a nice bay with island view and so shallow water that you can get to Island can walk. Although the beach, which is best reached via the hotel grounds, is very attractive, swimmers prefer Port Launay or Baie Ternaybecause the water is deeper there and you can snorkel there very well.
It is a long white sandy beach with relatively shallow and calm water. Among other things it is a perfect place for families with children.
Here, one has a magnificent view, on one side mountain panorama on the other side turquoise sea and the 2 offshore islands L'Islette (at extreme low tide one can even walk there) and behind it Therese.
The beach belongs to the Ephelia Hotel, but like all beaches on the Seychelles publicly.
The Sauzier waterfall is about 15 minutes walk from the beach. For this you cross the main road at the "St. Peter and Paul- Church" and follow the smaller tarred road for about 5 minutes (keep left).
Entrance fee Monday-Saturday is 25 Scr per person.
