ANSE PARNEL

ANSE PARNEL

Beach in the southeast of Mahé

Interesting facts about the ANSE PARNEL:

The Anse Parnel is located in the southeast of the main island Mahé. A rather small beach with fine light sand and crystal clear water. Because of the offshore reef the water is shallow and calm, but there are some sharp stones/corals on the seabed, so water shoes are recommended. Especially at low tide the water is very shallow and sometimes only reaches up to the knees, at high tide the beach sometimes disappears completely.

Anse Parnel is a pretty beach in a quiet, idyllic corner of the island, shielded from view. Blessed with shimmering white sand and clear waters, this lovely beach is wonderful for a family day out.

Especially on weekends, some locals come here to surf and bodyboard. This is why the beach is also called "Surfers Beach". Among other things, the "Surfers Beach Restaurant" is located directly on the beach.

Directions:

Von Victoria ausgehend Richtung Süden der Bois des Rose Avenue folgen, weiter auf Providence Highway, am Flughafen vorbei auf die East Coast Road welche in die South Coast Road übergeht.
The beach is located just after the Anse Royal and you can park at the Surfers Beach Restaurant.
